When you pick one try and get some of the keywords your product is about in the name. If you are selling baseball bats choose something like best-baseball-bats-around or something like that. The dot com version of a domain name is still the best way to go if you can, but if you want a certain word and it is available in dot net, dot biz, or others then go ahead and buy it.
